Burgas (beach town)

Burgas (beach town) —  located 3 1/2 hours east of Sofia (383 km) via car,  Burgas is the fourth largest city in Bulgaria.  There are few beaches in the town of Burgas.  But it is more famous as a turning point to the southern Bulgarian Black Sea resorts like Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Sozopol, Dyuni, Elenite, etc.  The night life offers a lot of opportunities, as well.  There are restaurants, bars, casinos.  They are situated on the central streets of Burgas, along the sea shore and in the Marine Park.


Art Street Samuil

Art Street Samuil (Tsar Samuil Street, Sofia)— this is a quiet street in Sofia that hosts many art galleries and museums. The place has attracted many artists and business owners and formed a community of people who really care about art. Air Sofia Golf Club

Air Sofia Golf Club (1, Shesti Septemvri, ulitsa “Sveti Patriarh Evtimij”, Ihtiman) – located about an hour southeast of Sofia, this is the first golf course that opening in this formerly Communist country — opening doors in year 2000 in Ihtiman Village (near the Bulgarian capital).  Enabling the golf player to own a property that is front line golf and within easy reach of the capital city and some of the best skiing in the country. Being 5,948 yards, 18-holes, with a par of 71 off the yellow tees, it is in every way a proper golf course. Accommodations are available at the golf course, or in the Air Sofia Hotel, which is only a five minute walk away. The Mall

The Mall (Tsarigradsko Shose 115z, Sofia) – this is one of the largest shopping center anywhere in the Balkans.  The six story building this mall is housed in has over 185 stores (both regional and international brands like Esprit, Guess, Sephora and Zara) along with restaurants, recreations centers, bars, cafeterias and parking for over 2,800 vehicles.

Sofia Ring Mall

Sofia Ring Mall (214 Okolovrasten put Blvd., Sofia) – opened in 2014, this shopping center has over 200 retailers.  It also has a huge amusement center, the largest indoor karting track in the country, and other amenities typically found in shopping centers.

Serdika Center Sofia

Serdika Center Sofia (48 Sitnyakovo Boulevard, corner of Sitnyakovo Blvd., Sofia) – opened in 2010, this multilevel shopping center has over 210 retailers (including Adidas, Benetton, Converse, Champion, Crocs, Diesel, Paul & Shark, Seiko, and Timberland, among others).

Paradise Center

Paradise Center (100 Cheri Vrah Blvd., Sofia) – built in 2013, this is the largest shopping center in Bulgaria, which has over 330 international and regional retailers.  Brands found there include Carrefour, Marks & Spencer, Sephora, The Gap, and others.   Mall amenities there range from a multiplex theater to fitness facilities, food courts, and a theme park.
